ARTIST BIZ STARTER KIT

Everything you need to jumpstart your professional career!

​This 8-week output-based course aims to empower and equip Filipino artists with tools to expand their career and professional reach.  Enjoy step-by-step guidance and personalized feedback as we delve into personal branding, creating a values-based online presence, writing an artist bio and résumé, theatrical headshots, set cards, crafting a portfolio website, business cards, and reels. Accepting only 5 clients.

INTRODUCTION TO GRANT WRITING

This 5-week course aims to equip Filipino artists with the building blocks of grant writing. It will walk participants through key stages of the grant writing process: from choosing grants available locally and abroad, brainstorming grant topics, the actual grant writing process, and the interview proper.  The class will delve specifically into individual artistic/career development-based grant topics. Accepting only 5 students.

INTIMACY AND CONSENT 101 FOR FILIPINO ARTISTS: A PRACTICAL GUIDE

This webinar will equip participants with tools in incorporating intimacy best practices, consent and emotional safety in their art practices, as well as how to be an ally to oneself and others in the event of harm. The tools and principles are tailored specifically to the Philippine context. Filipinos from all aspects of theater and film making (actors, directors, producers, stage managers, designers, etc.) are welcome!

RÉSUMÉ AND COVER LETTER WRITING WORKSHOP (Non-performance)

Are you a performer who’s never been taught to write a non-performance résumé? Are you a creative who needs to apply for an adjacent job? Or do you need to submit a résumé as part of a grant application process? This workshop will introduce the basic principles of writing non-performance résumés and cover letters. By the end of the 2 sessions, you will walk away with a strong résumé and cover letter that you can confidently submit. Maximum 8 slots. Pay-what-you-can.​

The interview only applies to the Artist Biz and Intro to Grant Writing Courses. No interview is required for the special workshops.
