#JuilliardJourney2015First times:1. "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" and "John" Last September 6 (Sunday), the Drama Division gave us tickets to see the matinee show of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" with Alex Sharp playing Christopher at the Barrymore Theater and the evening show of "John" at the Signature Theatre. The two plays were starkly different from each other in terms of treatment and the acting muscles required to pull them off. We are the music makers
And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams; World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world forever, it seems. Arthur O'Shaughnessy #JuilliardJourney2015Residence Hall Move-in was last Friday (August 28) and Orientation began the day after. I haven’t had time to write a blog entry because my laptop was acting up and I had to have several parts replaced so I was without a laptop for a couple of days. I was also busy with a lot of practical stuff such as setting up a US Bank Account (CHASE) and a US Number (T-Mobile). By this time, I’ve gotten my official ID and I am now a fully registered student at The Juilliard School!
I lent a friend a copy of a script I have. I got it back and found this poem at the back of the scratch paper she used to put my name on. Since it was indeed, a "scratch paper," the author wasn't indicated, nor was the full poem included in the torn page.
